HDD swapping and removing

    boot piority has been checked unforyantly I couldn't find my model board =/ but it is only 2 months old. I'll do a more through search tomorrow

    Suggestion: IF the original boot partition was on one of the IDE drives (evhich contained your original operating system) and IF you installed Win.7 on a different physical drive, it is possible that your system board's BIOS doesn't know where the new operating system is. There would have been a pointer in the original boot partition (on the old IDE drive) that identified the new Win.7 OS location.

    Just a thought.

    What likely happened is that the boot loader installed on the IDE drive. Removing it removed the loader. Insert your install disc and do as needed (I'm not sure of the steps) to repair the boot files.

    Weh I'd say your probs the most accurate. I'll try repairing the boot files with my disc and then probably format the IDE drive. Thanks
