but did you try changing the label first?

    1) Eject and unplug both drives then reboot.

    2) Only plug 1 drive in, go to "My Computer" right-click on the drive -> Rename.

    3) Eject the drive, reboot.

    4) After windows rebooted, plug in the other drive and rename it to something different than the first one. Eject it and reboot.

    5) Now try and see what happens when both are plugged in. They should NOT have the same label anymore. If they do, something is still messed up.

You may want to try this software from Western Digital. It will connect with all WD Hard Drives connected to your system and let you know if they are functioning properly.

The solution was an easy one and a stupid mistake by me. For some reason the drive was offline in disk managment but when you guys asked me to check that i eitehr missed it (most likley) or it was not present. Found it, Put it online. All set. Now both show. Thanks to everyone for the awsome help Especially Ken a true Gentlemen
