    3rd Monitor Not working???

Hey, I run the sound booth with my church and we need 3 monitors to run at the same with each other, we have the sound booth monitor and the front projector to run correctly but we need the stage display to run to. The problem is that windows 7 is detecting the monitor as well as MediaShout 4.5 except we can not get anything to display on it, let alone having the 3rd projector even detect that it is connected to the computer. What do you guys think? Is this fixable? Thank you ahead of time and please hurry with a response we need the monitor as soon as possible.

We have a gateway FX6840 with 8 gigs of ram, 1.5 TB HD Space, the problem projector is a BenQ PB8260

Unless you have 2 video cards or one that supports more than 2 monitors (AMD HD 5xxx series that have Eyefinity) or something like the Matrox TripleHead2Go or something like this,

Newegg.com - StarTech USB VGA and DVI Dual Port External Video Adapter USB2VGADVI USB to DVI / VGA Interface

there is nothing you can do do get 3 monitors to work.

If this is the correct specs for that Gateway,

Gateway Official Site: Shop - Desktops - FX6840 03e Product Details

then it has a Radeon HD 5770 in it that should have a displayport on it, then you will need one of the displays to also have a display port on it, or a displayport to DVI adapter (for what you are looking to do a passive one should work, active adapters as far as I know are only needed for Eyefinity).

    Mistake

Yeah, all thats correct. But I did forget to mention that the 3rd monitor is connected through a USB to VGA adapter and we have done this before then stopped working all of the sudden. The VGA port on the mother is disable (so says geek squad) so we can't use that, the graphics card that is in there works because we have an HDMI cable going up to the booth monitor and a VGA going to the projectors.

Sorry I didn't mention that before.

Checked all the cables from the USB adapter? Driver for it installed and working? It is possible that the adapter went bad if the cables and drivers all check out.

The driver is installed and working, all the cables are in working order and we just got the dang thing... The computer detects the 3rd monitor but the projector isn't playing nice and not seeing the connection between the computer and projector. I will reboot the computer and let you know what happens, thats usually a good idea in times like these...

    Cable was broken...

Ok, it just so happens that the cable was bad and we are getting a replacement for it tomorrow. I did not find this out until now because the pastor in charge refused to listen to me. But none the less, the cable is bad and we are getting a replacement.

Thank you guys for trying anyways.
