    HD won't format

I have a hard drive with 2 partitions and the first one I deleted but I can't format it. I don't want to format the entire drive but do I have another option?

Did you try to format your partition using Disk Management or some software for partitioning like Paragon ...

You can only format a partition - not unallocated space.

This. You'll have to create another partition in that space in order to format that area again.

It worked - I made a 10 meg partition and tried to format it which it wounldn't so I closed Disk Management and re-open and formatted the larger partition.
    Thanks
