I don't really know anything about Laptops, but is the Bluetooth on the laptop activated and broadcasting ?

Do you have software installed that belongs to your mobile phone so it can connect and transfer files between the two.

What happens if you click on the Bluetooth icon on the Laptop, do you get any error messages or does nothing happen ?

Hopefully someone with a Laptop will come along and help you out so hang in there.

Go to the bluetooth setting box. Make sure you check the box "Allow bluetooth devices to find this computer." Click "Apply", then use your phone to find your computer. It will prompt you the next step. Once you are done, don't forget to uncheck the box "Allow bluetooth devices to find this computer" to protect your privacy ( so no one keeps bugging you trying to connect to your computer).
