It certainly seems to be a bit slow when pinching to zoom in the browser as well as changing screen orientation. Hope you enjoy it and it continues to run good for you.

2.5 hours of run time is pretty poor though, but that's what you get with a larger OS on a tablet style device.

I've been playing with this thing all day and the 2.5 hours could well be an issue at some stage but for reading (ie with wifi off and low power) it looks asthough itll last a bit longer, which is probably the only task I'll set it too for anything longer than 10 minutes (I'm not about to use it as a media center or jukebox :) )

When I left it running on its own for an hour it only lost 10% of its battery, when I set about downloading software updates and testing movie files it lost over 40%, 2.5 hours might be on the generous side.

The battery life is the biggest issue, as it is with most laptops... as otherwise the build quality is excellent and it does look asthough everything it was supposed to do works (3g, bluetooth, wifi and the rest). Its basically a touchscreen netbook, which means theres scope to modify and upgrade, so hopefully a better battery can be sourced down the line. In the imediate term I think doubling the RAM to 2gb will do its performance no harm at all.

A slimmer version of windows would be ideal, just need microsoft (or g***le) to get on the case.
