    Windows Index - Hard Drive

The Windows Index say I have a 5.9 on my Hard Drive and I have a WD 1T SATA 3 (6 Gigs) 64 meg buffer so what hard drive can I buy that is better than that? I know they have SCSI and 10K rpm but are they any better?

A Solid State Drive (SSD) will certainly fix your problem.

10K and SCSI look like plain old hard drives when compared to the awesome that is the SSD. My WEI gives me a 7.6 and I don't have a particularly special SSD, no 6GB SATA, etc. Unless you are severely under-equipped in the RAM department it is the single best performance boost money can buy.

    Your right

Your right. I just built a new computer with SATA 3 and a external drive with USB 3 and they are FAST but next year I'll just use them for backup and go with solid state. Thanks
