Phew, this thread isn't THAT old xD

I just bought myself a Samsung Jack too =p I'm liking it so far, I disabled the internet though and just using Wifi

I can't get my phone to get recognized, when I plugged it in, I got the message with a green circle/checkmark saying that it was installed successfully. Then the message saying that I need to unlock my phone for it to be read, so I unlock it, but the message stays there x.x. I open up the Main Program, Windows Mobile Device Center, but it says my Phone isn't connected =/ Is there any other way any of you got this working on Windows 7 RC? Or are you guys using a different program?

Hello Mushy, welcome.

Try unlocking the phone first, then plug it in.

Yeah i've tried that, it pops up a menu on my iphone, to re-unlock it for it to sync. And the same thing comes up on my computer, but nothing changes after unlocking it =/

Try turning off the lock on the phone.

Hi Mushy

In New PC Studio make sure USB is selected (not Bluetooth) and in settings tick like this >

Gasp, I think I screwed up my Windows Mobile Device Center After reinstalling over and over xD I guess if this doesn't turn out so well, I can finally start my new PC HDD.

and Ohh, New PC Studio is a program, when you said that earlier in this thread, I thought you meant, "the new pc studio..." xD

Edit: Hmm, i got New PC Studio, and it doesn't detect my Samsung Jack =/ It's gotta be a driver problem

Yes honey New PC Studio is from Samsung and the PC interface for your phone and you can DL free here, just select your phone > Support - Software & Manuals - Software - Samsung Mobile

hmm, New PC Studio isn't detecting my Samsung Jack, it's GOTTA be a driver problem

That link you sent out doesn't seem to have my phone i guess the Samsung Jack is a US only, and the US site doesn't have a link like that to download, it has a user manual for my phone.

Is there any alternate ways to get this to work? When plugging in the USB nothing happens, just the phone charges.
I also now have Generic RNDIS as a Unknown Device with no drivers installed.
