    Hey and welcome to sevenforums

If you could go into device manager (type device manager in search) and find the card reader and see what driver is listed for it. we could then go get the correct driver.

Ken, thanks for the prompt reply, unfortunatley iam at work at the mo so i cannot go into device manager, but, from memory (many beers ago) i did look in device manager and the silly thing didnt even show up.

Tonight when i get home i'll re-install it and see if that helps.

okies, finally getting back to this, the card reader doesn't appear in device manager, ive re-installed it (pull box apart, unplug it, reboot, shut down, plug it back in etc) and it still don't show up (or work), the usb port in the card reader works though.

    Hello all

i write short, not too much time.

i have the same problem: memory card reader (generic, i'd need to check which brand it is) which is not working though the USB port on it works perfectly well.

    any ideas?

    pls advise! thks!
