SSD, will it work in a desktop?

I am shopping for a SSD for my desky. I was looking at this one and noticed it was suggested for use in a lappy. Will this work in a desky?

    Yes it will.
If you scroll down on the link you posted to "Technical Details" it states that it comes with an Adapter for a Desktop.

SATA is SATA...doesn't matter if it is a laptop or a desktop. Some cases have a 2.5" bay, and some come with adapters. You can buy an adapter if needed, but the drives will work on either type computer.

The advice you have been given is absolutely correct. I have 2 2.5" SSD's in my desktop right now and they work great. Just screw them in to the adapter and install them in the computer as you would any other Hard Drive.
