    Windows 7 On My Netbook!

So tonight i was really bored, and was wondering if i could get windows 7 to install on my netbook.
I got my iso, and using magic iso, extracted the files to a point on my hard drive, then copied every file to my usb drive
I formatted my usb drive first with the hp tool which i found out doesnt work on windows 7, so i did it on xp on my netbook
Then i tried rebooting to get it to act like a disc, and that didnt work.
Then i was on XP and looked at my usb drive, and it had a windows install icon for its icon, so i opened it and there was somthing called setup, so i decided i should run it, and lo and be hold the windows 7 install screen poped up in xp, and i told it to install to a unused partition on my netbook.
After it got to a point, it rebooted and i was nervous to see what would happen, and it went into the rest of the install.
so that finished, and it asked me all of the basic windows questions that you get, and it ran a test, then i was on my desktop.
So it installed without my dvd, and i dont have to buy a usb dvd thing now.

sorry for any typos, its late and im tired.
and there is a pic coming.

Sorry to not post my netbook
I have the asus 1000HA in black
    10 inch screen
    atom processor.

Well, I tried to burn it to a DVD first which I doubted anyway because I've had difficulties in the past with my laptop's burner. I was not surprised to find out it was a coaster. Then I tried to install off a flash drive which went good but not long after installing a few programs it began telling me the system disk was corrupted. After that I reformatted through Vista which I had been dual booting with and installed this time with the ISO mounted in Vista. This has been working so far and I just hope I don't get any errors this time!

MS had already said that they are going to also release Windows 7 on Netbooks when it is ready.

I installed Windows 7 on my Acer Aspire one but it didn't find the wireless, audio, or proper video drivers on install. I managed to use the XP drivers and now its running well, about the speed XP had on the netbook.

My WTL at work installed 7 on a Dell mini netbook without issues and it seems to run great. BTW, the mini is a very nice netbook with great res when connected to a ext monitor.
