Yep, at long last Canon have supplied us with a 64 bit driver for the LBP 3000 laser printer. The driver works with XP, Vista and Windows 7 among other platforms, I have checked these out. Just download the driver pack from here Printer Driver (x64 Edition)= . Save the zip file to a new folder (named say Canon LBP 3000 64 Bit Driver). After saving it to this folder click run. When the files have been unpacked go to the folder you saved the file to and you will see a new folder with the unpacked files. Go to this folder and run the setup module, follow the instructions and reboot when asked. You should now find your LBP 3000 Printer listed under Devices and Printers etc.

Good luck and thank you at last Canon
I've been following this thread ever since trying to get my LBP2900 printer hooked up under 64 bit Windows 7.
Happy you LBP3000 are sorted. Anyone else know status of LBP2900 64 bit driver?

When is there going to be a driver for the LBP3200? You'd think it wouldn't be a big ask and that they'd all be the same driver for the one series.

Well, I guess thanks for trying; I have an I-SENSYS LBP 3300 and the driver wouldn't work for me, not as a network driver and not via USB.

Searching the network printer and then selecting the driver manually fails "cannot find a suitable driver".

While using the installer and selecting the network path, it would show it as online, but when I try to print it keeps blinking "Load Paper", while from an XP host the printer works fine. Might be due to the fact that the printer is served by a Win2k3 Server, but personally I think it should work fine.

The USB install just fails completely on my Win7 x64; it fails when I finally connect the printer and says it couldn't find a driver.

EDIT: I just realized that the driver is for the LBP3000 not 3300. Geez, what anticipation can make out of someone... :@

Thank you people for the update

    Hi everyone.
I came back here cause of another problem with my Home Premium upgrade woes, and found the link to the new 64bit driver from Canon. I now have both laser and inkjet working, thanks to you.
    Cheers.
