    Batteries


    I heard a lot of people talking about how batteries of a laptop will degenerate over time.

    How much degeneration should I expect over a year?

    Should I take out the battery from the laptop and store it when I don't need it?

    Also, is there overcharging when you leave a battery in the laptop forever? like the battery continuously gains charge. Can you make it so that the battery stops charging after it reaches 100%?

Is it bad to keep a computer plugged in? Keeping it maxed out @ 100% I heard was bad.... Does it really matter? I go through the process of draining and charging, and I had my computer for 7 months.... In fact I am draining it now... So is it true? Does it really hurt the battery? :) Thanks
