Yes understood but I was of the understanding that a SSD should not be run on IDE as it wouldn't work properly, maybe there is still hope for my old laptop lol

Technically you could use IDE, but it would be best to have the SSD as AHCI, or RAID (if using a RAID configuration with them) to have the best performance with a SSD.

Boy those updates are coming fast now.

As a side note I don't know why it's so hard for OCZ to make their toolbox compatible with Intel's RST 10 drivers. Not like these drivers just came out.

Anyway thanks.

FYI, the newer 10.5.0.1015 and 10.5.0.1022 that just came about see the drive with the toolbox now.
intel drivers pour Raid/Sata/Ata/Ahci

They're not WHQL, but I've used both and they are working fine for me.

Just run toolbox as admin.

Very nice. I hope it will see the drives in RAID 0 as well when I give a try later.

Thanks. IE went crazy with the warning will robinson stuff about the file being a potential risk, but since you linked to it.... well

Anyway MSE says it's clean

Thanks

That's where most have been getting them for a long time. Besides at Intel. They get them from manufacturers sites once they're public real quick, like Gigabyte. It's a safe site.
