    Dvd/cd-rom problem!


    Hey guys!
    For some reason, my DVD drive disappears from My Computer.
    I cant view him in Manage,and also when im uninstalling it,i cant reinstall..
    Please help!
    I have Windows 7 32bit 7600 ,service pack 1.

    Do you have another computer or even just port to test it in to see if it's the drive itself? Did it just suddenly start out of nowhere or had you made any changes right before it started happening? Perhaps most importantly: Are the power and data cables plugged in all the way?
