Sorry Ciara, totally missed the UK connection.

You just need to search the FreeView site to determine what format they use and pick a card that meets it. Mike is going to have better info, as he is "over there".

All else still.

Then have a look at these;

Amazon.co.uk: tv sat pc card

This one is popular and gets good reviews;

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Compro-Video...1487545&sr=8-4

You can shop around for prices, but Amazon is actually usually pretty good.

Hi there
any of the HAUPPAGE products (WinTV) etc will work in the UK. You can either go for a USB tuner or a Card depending on what machine you want to install.

These will also work with Windows Media Centre too -- although if you want to play Composite video (say from a camera / satellite receiver / TV transmitter) you'll need to use HAUPPAGE software since the Media Centre needs some sort of remote to activate the Composite Input rather than Antenna source.

There's about 50 free unscrambled channels on the UK's Freeview service (to say nothing of ZILLIONS of Shopping channels -- although whoever watches those must really have some problems with their "upstairs dept").

The Hauppage stuff works simply fine -- around 35 GBP at PCworld etc.

Cheers

Hi there
That one looks good plus you also get the remote which if the advert is correct will WORK with Windows Media centre too.

Good find and cheap too.

Cheers
