Dear hrdavidson,
The forum welcomes you!You will have a pleasent stay! Speccy (free) gives detailed info about the Motherboard, cpu, etc in an elegant fashion! Download link : Speccy - System Information - Free Download

It even gives the temp. of your HDD,CPU,Graphics and mobo! View the snapshots and yes, the air-conditioner(the compressor) blew up last night with no casualities and that's why you are seeing high temperatures!

Hopefully, i've been of some help!
