    Hi bobsscgirl. have a look at this knowledgebase article The AutoRun feature or the AutoPlay feature does not work when you insert a CD-ROM in the CD drive it's mainly for WinXP but should help you :)

    I tried to follow the directions to the end of the link and at the end it did not match to anything I saw.
