    OK that looks good. That means you are in AHCI mode. Now do the command prompts from Pooch and the one I posted above. The one Pooch gave will tell you if trim is enabled.

    That looks good. now turn off hibernate. Then click the start button and type defrag in the search box, click on disk defragmenter, if you see schedule click on that, as I recall there is a check box in the top left about schedule, un check that, save and leave that screen, now it should say schedule defragmentation is off. You will have to do your other hard drives manually. Never defragment the SSD.

    That looks good. If you haven't already go to gigabyte's site and update all of your drivers. Then, enjoy your new SSD. You've done a good job. Congratulations.

    Ok i will work,play as usual and see what happens.

    Panais, Those are pretty good numbers too. I'm glad you are set up and it is running well. The WEI numbers for the SSD are right on what hey should be. In fact, my Intel runs 7.6, so yours is doing good. If you have any problems, let me know. Good job.
