    Memory compatibility problems


    I ordered a pair of 1 GB PC3200 DDR400 sticks and they sent me a pair that say
    MDD400 128X64. These are not compatible with either of my 2 machines running Win7 64.

    What's the difference?

    I've not seen it before, but MDDR is mobile DDR.128X16 implies that it's a high density format as well.

    I doubt that it's compatible with most desktop PCs.

My new motherboard (Asus M4A89GTD PRO) says it supports DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066 MHz memory. Although it is not listed, could I use 1600 MHz because its inbetween 1333 and 2000, or can I use only the speeds listed?
Hello everyone I would like to ask if anybody here can tell me if my Kingston DDR2-667 SDRAM memory chips are compatible with Windows 7. I've searched for a Kingston support forum but couldn't find any. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
