im using Windows 7. Just got my Computer and for some reason
i cant hold a Key and Move the mouse at the same time....
i know its not really a big problem but its been bugging me lately
Upfront, I have to admit its just a guess, but my hunch is that your keyboard is set up to move the mouse. The keyboard can be used in lieu of the mouse, in emergecy and maybe even years ago. Here is a link on how to set up the feature. I can only assume that this will give you a lead on how to change it back. Get back to us, its fun to guess and see if I am right.

I received your PM, but sorry to say I cannot find the chart for Windows 7. That is the reason that I gave it to your for Vista. Both OS are closely related and truly believed that the chart provided would work for you. I will look a bit more and relate to you anything new that I discover.
I went right to the source, Microsoft. This is specifically for Windows 7. I have not actually watched the Video, so your viewing will be the premiere, hope you have your pop corn ready. Change mouse settings
I see this topic is old, but I was having a similar problem. When you say 'mouse' are you referring to your touchpad (e.g., the mouse included in a laptop)? If you are, then this procedure is what worked for me:
1) In your system tray, find your 'pointing device' or whatever it wants to be called. Right click and select 'Properties'.
2) Find the 'Device Settings' (for the synaptics touchpad I have, this is under the 'device settings' tab.)
3) Click on the 'settings' button.
4) In the subsequent menu, go to 'pointing-> sensitivity -> palm check'
5) Lower the palm check sensitivity toward minimum until you have the response you desire.
Hopefully this helps you or somebody else. I realize everyone doesn't have the same menus, but the 'palm check' option on touchpads is set up so that the mouse doesn't click while you're typing; disabling it on your system should solve this problem.
