I have the H50. I put 2 Noctua fans on it and it is dead silent.

yea the fans that came with the H70 are quieter than my other fans, i actually ended up removing 2 cause its so cold in my case. i have to put my ear right near to the fan to hear anything.

Great choice for a "no choice" For the $$$ and the simplicity its a no brainier, I come from a long line of water coolers and for years I looked down at kit's of any type. Today, I am about to purchase one too...... The cooling is way more than adequate which is fine by me....I am getting old.....damm....mid life crisis.....

That makes absolutely no sense at all.

Yep I got an H70 on my 2600k build. Works great, quite(low humm) but that could be because I set mine up a little different. I put a 140mm fan outside of case, The rad inside then put the 120mm on it.(exhausting) (see pics) My temps are great IMO (see pics) The temps are while running @ 4.5Ghz.

heres my work computer, i do auto cad 3-d rendering

i was gonna use my H70 on my work unit, but decided i wanted it at home since i use my home computer more.

    Intel Core i7 970 6 Core with HT @ 3.2Ghz
    Asus Rampage III LGA1366 Socket
Crucial c300 128GB SSD Sata III drive
    1TB WD cavier black 7200 32mb cache
    Patriot 24GB DDR3 1333Mhz memory
    Nvidia Quadro 4000 256bit 2GB GDDR5 GPU
Kingwin Lazer 1000w 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply

i ended up sticking with the stock intel 970 cooler cause it was so big and keeps it cool.

Good job Jeepman, and a great wiring job. HAF X makes it a little easier doesn't it. Congrats on a good build.
