    Total Data Written to SSD

In most Intel SSDs you can see how much data your SSD controller has written to the drive since it was first made. Can drives made by other companies check this data as well? It would be interesting to see everyones number. here is mine

    Host Writes: 6.08 TB
    Power-on Hours Count: 3266
    Power Cycle Count: 1677

I still see NO decrease in performance out of this drive at all.. still getting 0.09823 Ms and 239MB/s read and 64MB/s Write

This is exactly why my next purchase is going to be another Intel SSD..

Thanks! I've had an Intel SSD 320 Series in my HP desktop computer for just over a month and that's nice to know!

    Nice!

Anyways, I've had my SSD for like 2 weeks, with 11 hours Work Time, and it has written over 1000 GIGABYTES (1 TB) already!

How come? I have Windows 7 + a few games and programmes.

I also have the Pagefile there, can this be it?

    Thanks

The pagefile is unlikely if you have 3 or 4GBs of RAM. But keep looking in Resource Monitor > Disk tab which processes do all the writing. 1TB in 11 hours is very unusual.

Yeah that is highly unlikely.. or maybe you don't have a lot of ram and it's paging a lot.. 1TB is impressive for what you do with your computer lol congrats.. your SSD wont last that long!

+1 SSD Life is an intuitive SSD diagnostic tool that will give you the usage specs on your SSD as well as an estimation of its life expectancy.
