If I set a passkey in Vista for my bluetooth keyboard and then boot into 7, I have to set a passkey in 7 because they KB doesn't work.

Once I get the KB working in 7 and then boot back to Vista, the KB has stopped in Vista again requiring me to enter a new passkey.

This is getting tedious.

Any ideas?
Having exactly the same problem after installing Dell Quick Set to get my Hot Keys and Volume Control working. Anybody found a solution to this problem??

OK, this is my conclusion. Could never get my Dell Bluetooth keyboard to work without entering a new passkey everytime I shifted OS. Binned it. First tested a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard, not that I had much hope that would work any better, but as the seller promised I could replace it if it did not, I thought it worth trying. Same problem. Yet I found a simple way to trick it into letting me choose passkey myself, and choosing the same for both Vista and W7, it did not work. Maybe because Vista is 32 bit and W7 64?

Replaced it with a Logitech Cordless MX 3200 and this works perfectly. As my SSD problems seems solved too, it seems I am now all set. So it seems Bluetooth is nothing for a dual boot system.

Everytime I open Office I have to Enter the product key?
I don't understand. I open up word 2010 (or any office program) and it says its unlicensed so it opens up a window and tells me to enter my key in. This is a 100% legitimate key; my dad bought it from his work. Whats wrong with office?
