    Have a REAL problem

Bought a new wireless Canon MG5250 printer yesterday as my other Canon cannot do CD printing.

Now after a scare with my wireless being kept diabled I founf that one can use an ordinary cable.

BUT heavme give me strength the Canon is telling me it is not compatable with IE9 which I have converted to - even though I checked for updates from Canon for this.

Now I seem to remember that if you went to IE9 then you cannot go back and use IE8.

Can someone tell me if I have it right because if I can download IE8 just for the use of this printer I would be a much happier camper.

Your browser (IE) has no affect on what printer you can use.

    Thanks

Thanks you fellas sorry for late reply but have been trying to tidy up so much stuff and a friend blew in to pick up his machine so....

Look I'm going to give this thing a whirl in a while when the phone stops ringing and whatever - it just came as a bit of a shock last night when I unpacked it and found all this damn wireless stuff in the instructions.
Will let you know how it goes!

Goes like a clockwork orange not a hitch after all that worrying - sorry for the query lads!!
