Shouldn't this be in the News section?

    Nice heads-up BTW...

Let's hope that, finally, AMD puts out a competitive chip... Since Conroe it's about as boring as watching Sebastian Vettle win... again.

I placed this in "General Discussion" but it was moved. The whole Bulldozer thing has taken so long that maybe it doesn't qualify as "News" anymore.....lol. Even in the video the guy talks about the massive resources and time it takes to debug and launch a new platform and it's so true. Best to be fully safe and late then quick and sorry !

I remember a lot of hype when the first 4 core chips came out so I think its time to sit back relax and wait to see if the new chips are actually going to make the grade.

That's my plans. I've been waiting for the Bulldozer to arrive, but I want to see some reviews on performance before jumping in. It will be good for the market if they can compete with Sandy Bridge.

Being 32nm instead of 45nm technology should put it on a more level field with Intel....until Intel launches its 22nm.

As that second article states, the question will be how well this Bulldozer chip overclocks. A Core i7-2600k running happily at 4.8Ghz (which isn't a stretch for this chip), might actually outperform the Bulldozer. That wouldn't be great news for AMD...especially if prices are essentially the same.
