New Intel Core i5 video problems

I bought an Intel Core i5-2400 DIY kit from Newegg. It has the following specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2400
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3
Ram: 4gb DDR3 1333
Hard drives: 1TB Seagate and 500GB Seagate
DVDRW: LG basic dvdrw

Last night I built the computer and this morning I hooked it up to my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and network. The monitor is using a DVI cable but supports both. (not sure if that matters). Fire the computer up, put in the Windows 7 CD and install away. No problems during the install. Windows loads to the desktop but the video, audio, and network drivers are not installed. So I pop in the Gigabyte CD and install the Intel INF, Video, Audio, Ethernet and then reboot. After the reboot, Windows loads but gets to just before the "Welcome" screen and then the monitor indicates no signal. So I reboot and go into Safe Mode. I remove the drivers and download newer ones from Gigabyte's website. After the reboot, it comes up fine. I install the newer driver and reboot. And guess what...the same thing happens. I cannot win. I cannot afford to buy a video card into the system. I also went into the BIOS and told it to use onboard first. I also increased the on-chip frame buffer size to 484mb+2MB for GTT.

Right now the computer is disconnected and waiting for help. Please help!

Thanks,
Aaron

PS: If this is not in the correct location, please move.

If I understand correctly, you have video before installing the drivers. The fact that you have video on boot until the welcome screen indicates it is a driver issue. As windows loads it activates drivers, it seems that when it loads your graphic driver you loose video. Uninstall the video driver and go to intel's website, let it scan the computer to find missing or out of date drivers, see if that helps.

According to intels website, the driver you need is 8.15.10.1.2246 .

Who loves nvidia? Try another nvidia driver at a guess, either the latest beta or a previous driver. However, it would probably be better to go to the intel site and download the latest intel chipset drivers and install them first - next from the same site the intel graphics driver, then the latest nvidia driver (if later then the current installed driver, which would apply to the other drivers also.)

nVidia? This is an Intel graphics core built into the cpu: Intel® Core nVidia doesn't have anything to do with it.

I've got a similar system and did not encounter your problem.

Do you show any errors (yellow bangs) in Device Manager?

Take another look through your BIOS. I think there is more than 1 setting that pertains to video.

Do you have an entry for "Intel Graphics and Media" in your control panel?

I am using Intel HD graphics driver 8.15.10.2342 dated March 25, but I assume newer versions would also work. I'd get all possible drivers from Intel directly if you can.

Did you install the Intel graphics driver by poking setup.exe in the 64 folder?

But now I can't get the onboard LAN to work. I am done. This the last PC I am ever building. The device driver is installed but the pos shows a red X over the lan eventhough the network cable is PLUGGED IN. I have never ever ever ever had so many problems that with this PC. Help me but I am done after this.
