    Printers not responding after "Sleep"

After awakening the computer out of "Sleep", none of my printers respond. Only after restarting the system, everything returns to normal. Several hits on Internet - but none seems to offer a practical solution. Who knows what to do?

Depending on how you have them hooked up I would go update the drivers for the printers and the motherboard from their respective sites (manufacturers). I prefer this to the Windows check in Device Manager.

Best I can get to the mobo is this MEDION UK - Driver

Many thanks for the quick reaction! The drivers are the original HP printer drivers (both updated). Printers are an old Deskjet but still serviceable 930c and a 1410. Please note again that everything returns to normal after a restart. And judging from the several posts on the net, this seems to happen with other printer makes, too. Apparently a Win 7 Sleep problem...

    Best and thanks again.
