If none of that works, boot into bios and load optimized defaults, save and exit. Shut the computer completely down. Restart, go back into bios and see if your CD/DVD is found and see if your HDD is recognized.

By tried it, I presume it didn't work? I find it difficult to believe that your Cd/DVD and HDD would go out at the same time. There may be more problems there. Does your bios or diskpart see any HDDs? If it does, try to install to one of them.

Yea you see my dilemma, DISK PART lists 3 things, my USB, my SD CARD, and a Removable Drive with a size of 0 labeled C.

When I try to access this C, I get a multiple of road blocks, including please insert media into drive C, drive is not ready, drive is not availible for direct access, etc, etc.

Do you have more than 1 HDD in the computer? Just for a shot in the dark. Shut down, disconnect the power and data cable to the HDD and boot into bios and see if anything else shows up.
