    hp wireless optical mouse 2.4ghz problem


    Hello everyone

    i bought a hp wireless optical mouse 2.4ghz yesterday

    it is not connecting even though it is plugged in with new batteries


    i got the message that USB INPUT DEVICE INSTALLED BUT STILL NO SIGN OF WORKING

    Sometimes getting them to connect the first time is a major pain, just keep touching the little connect button on the mouse and the receiver (if there is one on the receiver)
    I would make sure they are as close to each other as you can manage while trying to get the initial connect response.

    I'm not familiar with this particular mouse, but usually it's a tiny slightly recessed button on the underside of the device in question.

    in that case it's either the tiny circular button on the top there. Or there is another one underneath it that is about the same size and shape.
