Mobo choice

I'm torn between 2 Asus motherboards.

The P8P67 REV 3.0 & The P8P67 Deluxe.

Just wanted some other technicians opinions on it.

It's to go with a new i7 2600K if that helps.

More leaning towards the deluxe, but is it worth the price?

Thanks in advance

You're asking a question that no one is really able to answer but you. Go to a site like Newegg, and compare them side by side, feature by feature. Once you hammer out the differences, only you can decided if the higher cost one justifies the price or not. That isn't something we'll be able to help you with.

I went for the deluxe, because of more features/ports/expansion.

See, that's what I meant. None of us would have known of those extra features or ports are important to you. On my system, I have no plans to run two video cards, so extra PCI-E x16 slots would be a waste of money for me. I would never need more than 4 SATA ports, so that again, could be a waste if a higher end board offered more. My point being, your needs and wishes are unique, so you know them better than anyone. I didn't even get into financial or budget discussions, either. You had tow good boards to choose form, so I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Which is the best choice?
Hi all! I'm posting this msg because I don't know what to do in this situation. A friend of mine gave me his PC because it's running slowly and bla bla. He bought it 2 and a half years ago so a format/clean install should do it. It's a notebook Acer Aspire 5720Z. I'd love to install Win7x32...

Hey guys, not entirely sure if this is the right section but I'm considering selling my 1366 chipset. I run an I7 960 at 3.2ghz stock, some pretty average 6gb corsair ram and an Asus P685D-E mobo. And have a thermaltake chaser mk-1. I'm considering upgrading in two weeks. I already have 3...

LOG-ON Choice
When I built this private/home system, I had it running without a Log-On password. At some point I had to run it as Administrator for some reason. From that point, when I boot up, I get a choice of logging on as either: My Name Admin (preferred) & Administrator. I initially thought that it was a...
