    fan speeds


    i have a sony laptop nw220f t4300 procesor. tried out speedfan and right now the temps are under 45 but they have gotten up to 65 and stayed for a good while and cant figure why. the air is really warm/hot blowing out and and the fan just seems to stay on low. it used to switch for low to high at times. i have the thing on a cooler w/ dual fans and a/c is set at 70 so idk why it seems warmer than usual. wish there was a way to manually make the fan go

    Try a system restore around fan speed if you think it was better then. Yes its very hard to find a fan speed utility to adust the fan speed on a laptop. If you read thru the following article it may help, but unfortunately it says some software needs to be researched thoroughly before installing, and do so at your own risk, so my first suggestion maybe the best solution :
