Rosewell Challenger help.

Sorry about it being so dark guys, I can't really get it any better than that, the third picture shows the main connector with the extra 4 pin in it beside it because im guessing that is how it goes.

I've always wondered that myself. My 1155 board came with 4 pins exposed and 4 pins covered. I never have figured out why they would do that. Just another way to confuse us I guess.

I really do not know the answer but as Swifty has already posted it did work before. I have just done a google and came up with this 8-pin EATX 12v connector on Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe - Power-Supplies-PC-Cases-Case-Mods - CPU-Components

I find it funny how someone had said the 8 pin is required to run for a quad core which I have but my computer has been running fine on 4 pin and not the fully 8

But either way the problem is solved, the computer is now booting properly I am not sure why,

I have read several places that most boards will run with 1 4 pin connector but will run better with both. You manual says you must use 8 pins. I guess they lied. I really don't know the correct answer. I just plug in all of the connectors they give.
