Time and date resets when i restart the pc?

    The only thing I see in you specs is your Bios is from 2007. But I have several computers with Bios older than that. They have not been update & still hold the date & time ok.

    One other thing you may try, Resetting Bios to factory default.

    Take the new battery out, unplug AC power cable from the source (wall outlet). Leave battery out & power dis-connected for at least 30 minutes. Then put battery back in & connect AC power cable, Boot-up, & immediately hit DEL key to go into Bios set-up to set time & date. Save settings & re-Boot.

every time I restart my Laptop, the date and the time changes to 1/1/2010 and 12PM. I have windows7 professional service pack1 32bit. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Have set the correct time zone, set the date and time, and within half an hour, the time jumps ahead significantly. Time then continues jumping periodically, and date as well. Any patch available for this? Thanks.
Time Resets to GMT On Restart

I have an issue with Windows 7. Whatever time I set Windows 7 to (i.e. Eastern Time, Western Time, Coordinated Universal Time, etc.), on restart it sets itself to GMT, while still showing that I've selected the previous time zone I set (i.e. Eastern Time). Any help would be appreciated.
