    Well I just parted with some money-
    Lancool PC-K60 case (2x140mm fans on top, 120 and 140mm below)
    ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Mother board
    8 GB Ram
    i7 2600k
    Seasonic M12 II 520W PSU

    So nearly there. With all fans running full, it's very quiet. and moves a lot of air.
    When I actually saw the pathetic stock heat sink and fan that came with the i7 I have my doubts.

    48-50C on idle would bother me a bit. When I get my final few bits and pieces I'll test mine.

    Just for info this is mine, Cooling is by a Noctua NH-U12P SE2. The stock cooler should be fine but the max temps would be much higher.
    I tested it when the cooler was new and the max temps would stay like this all day :)
    PS where it is marked Power Supply in my snip is where my second CPU fan is plugged
