There are several reasons your performance can decrease. Yours is a sandforce based ssd. The garbage collection isn't that great and if you don't have trim on, your performance may drop. Also sandforce has write throttling and will severely reduce your write speeds if you go over a certain rate. I have an f40 and once the write speeds drop, they don't come back without a secure erase. The best thing to do to keep the performance up is to not run benchmarks like wei or whatever - only run them infrequently.

This is the only way I know to make a .1 difference. Without cheating that is lol

It is only a worthless WEI score but like everything else I think we all want to have the best possible :)

PS just refreshing your WEI will most likely not be enough to show the change
I did that and nothing changed and this particular SSD didn't like i disabled write cache-ing so i am basicly stuck with a 7.3 when i started out 7.4 weird

I'm going to leave this thread open a while and see if anyone who has the same issue with the corsair Force series SSD

Try this. Start from a cold boot and leave it idling on the login screen for 2 hours. The sandforce controllers of the OCZ variety use idle time garbage collection and will increase performance. I assume it is a function of the controller and therefore wouldn't matter which brand SSD it is.

Also if you have a background A/V scan running or Search Index it can slow it down 0.1.

My Intel dropped 0.1 once when first installed.
Closed all my IE tabs, Outlook then a reboot and it went back up the 0.1.
So was it the open apps or Search Index or A/V in the background or a combo of them?
    Don't know for sure.

It really doesn't make any difference. There is nothing wrong with the SSD.

As Essenbe pointe out about the Sandforce idle it and let the TRIM do its thing. Do that about once a week.
Then proceed to wear it out.
