    mouse pointer disappearing?

While in IE my mouse pointer will disappear. I unchecked "hide while typing" and it still disappears. I'll be reading a web page and the pointer disappears, I then have to shake the mouse so I can see where it is.
Is this a new "feature" in the latest version of IE. If so, how do I turn it off?

Do you have some mouse software such as Logitech or Microsoft?

No, but I did find a resolution while rearching this problem if anybody is interested.
I had multiple tabs open. One was to a site which had flash embedded videos (or something like that).
I closed the tab for the site and now my mouse pointer doesn't disappear anymore.
I don't know if an update to flash is needed or the website needs to be fixed.

It's a USB mouse. It didn't do this in any other program. I looked for a similar issue on the net and found one that's similar and is caused by a bug in flash or certain buggy websites that use flash.
It's "fixed" for the time being. When I go to the site that causes the issue, I don't have any other tabs open.

Glad you figured out a work-around. You can also try updating both Flash and Shockwave player.

    Hi,

In the past i experienced the same sort of behavior, see here Mouse Pointer Flickers, Blinks or Disappears In Web Browser | gadget daily

I upgraded the plugin and 'bobs your uncle' resolved!

Perhaps not too relevant now as you are aware of a work around!
