Trouble with the window Bluetooth Phone Operations

    Hi,

I have bought a Belkin Bluetooth Adaptater which works with a Widcomm/Broadcom driver.
The driver name is "Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1 USB UHE Dongle" version 6.5.0.150, the software is WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software version 6.0.1.6300.

So, I paired my phone with my eeepc (Win7 Pro) but when I double click on my device, I only see this proprieties but no the window "Bluetooth Phone Operations" (this one : http://www.question-defense.com/wp-c...d-settings.gif )

Therefore, I can't use all functionalities like sync, audio,...

Everybody knows how fix this problem and display this window ?

Thanks in advance for your answers !

Welcome to Seven forums maxime115. Is your phone compatible with a computer? Some are not even though equipped with Blutooth.

    Hi,
yes, it is compatible I can use it as modem to connect my computer on the Internet for instance.

I tried to upgrate my software to the version 6.3 and I can right-clic on me device and then select "Control" in bold. But nothing happens. Moreover with this version, my bluetooth dongle stay on when my computer is shutdown...
    So, I reinstall the 6.0.

How to know where is the problem ?

I suspect the dongle will have its own power switch? Uninstall the dongle's driver and reboot with it plugged in.

    Re,

I find a new driver version and it works perfectly!
However, with this update I have the same problem as before, the dongle's led stay switched on.

I don't think the dongle have its own power switch because before the install, it powers down normally.
Perhaps I have to change an entry in regedit ?

Nothing, there is no button. It turns on at the same time as the computer.

OK, so it is powered via the USB port? With the computer off, no power, there should be no power for any USB ports either.

Yes, it is powered via the USB port, that's strange...it happens only when my computer is on main current.

It could be a driver issue no?

Yes driver is a possibility. Try unistalling the dongle in Device manager and rebooting with the dongle pluged in.
