Hello, I have a storage drive that was recently lost and had all my work files on it Does anyone know if any files that were used on my storage drive can be viewed or found on my hardrive by some chance in hell? Another words, can any files be found on my harddrive since i worked with them on my computer even though nothing was saved to my computer only on my storage drive? Ive seen some clever cpu tricks in my time. . .so i guess this is a really stupid question or its not lol Thank you. . .and plz help if possible.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

But no, if the files were not saved to your PC or backed up to other media then they only exist on that portable drive.

There is no "memory" of files on your computer other than RAM, and that is just static electricity and disappears when you shut down and the power goes off.
