Windows 10 Pro

Thanks for the update(s) :)

BTW do you have AHCI enabled? If so how? Did you do it through the BIOS or did you have to do the reg hack?

It's just that I thought it was an odd suggestion for an SSD drive.

OK after two operating days the PCIe SSD gave me the beloved BSOD! RMA back to newegg. I did not lose anything as I had the Sata 3 drive just waiting in the back ground. It is sort of odd that this drive just up and gave out so I did some checking on it and windows did recognize an error so the repair did not work. Reformatted and the memory modules had some sort of error as it only saw one of the 4 separate memory slots. They have 4 each of 55 GB. When booting up all 4 did show and no error. When I ran a scan it showed no errors also. Yes, I was careful with ESD when installing!
I wonder if there is some sort of MB conflict with the Sata 3 and the SSD? This particular MB does look for the Sata 3 when there is one plugged in! I still do not see how that would cause the failure.

You will get better performance if you switch to AHCI, use the latest Intel drivers.

Intel Download Center

Choose Chipsets > Desktop Chipsets > Intel x58 express chipset

Intel® Rapid Storage Technology version 10.1.0.1008

Your 4K-64Thrd is very low.
Should be getting an AS SSD score of around 400.
My Intel 40GB SSD gets 340 with AHCI and the latest Intel driver.

Yeah, HD Tune often does those up and down charts. That's why I prefer Atto. Your R/W times are good, the access time is OK but many other SSDs are at 0.1ms.
