That's pretty impressive for read/write speeds. But what do you do with a triple Raid - does not buy you much for the OS (my assumption) as compared to a single SSD since the access time is the same.

I edit video so it helps there. I didn't want to buy a 256GB (to pricey,) and the 120GB was about the same price, so figured this was the fastest setup (wether or not I use the speed) for the cheapest price (relatively speaking)...

For video editing it makes sense - provided you have a matching CPU. Overall it sounds like a good deal.

yah, well... I definitely wasn't spending the cash on a 980X lol... Though I still should have gone i7. Oh well, the i5 @ 4.2 works pretty good too

That sounds like an OC for the i5.

    Hi all:

Installed a 40GB Intel X-V SSD about 7 weeks ago.
My HDD WEI score went from 5.9 to 7.6.
HDTune shows 231 MB/s (used to be about 95 MB/s).

Any ideas about using Write Cache with an SSD? Does it make sense to do so?

Figures look to be in the ballpark as others.
