Hello everyone, just bought crucial c300 64gb 0006 firmware. I know, these numbers aren't very good, but it's huge increase in speed over my old hitachi 5k250

Startas, what happened to the write speed? The Atto numbers you show are not normal - they are way too low.

    Nothing happened, it's because my crucial is 64gb, not 128gb or 256gb - 64gb version has lower write speed - 75MB/sec - Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB Review | StorageReview.com

    Sequential Read 355MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s) 265MB/sec (SATA 3Gb/s)
    Sequential Write 75MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s) 75MB/sec (SATA 3Gb/s)

For a strictly OS drive the the C300 flies... Mine looks almost the same even without the firmware upgrade...

Well for some odd reason mine gave 7.7, then I immediately ran WEI again and it dropped to 7.6

Anyways no sleep lost as it's far better then that 5.9 spinner that was holding me back

Now I'm off to upgrading my i7-930 to a 950

    Later.
