The above post is post #1000 on page #100 - quite a coincidence.

Thanks Dave for the info. No way to stop progress. I am sure our current SSDs will look sad in a couple of years. That is one reason I do not worry about all that "wear and tear" hype.

No matter which SSD you have your OS on it's better than a spinner

    Same here.

I'm still in awe of the SSD I bought last May. Hard to believe that it won't be long until I'm looking at it like it was nothing special.

Ok, looking at my attachment, is this an expected level of performance degradation for 5 months use. I have trim enabled etc so was quite suprised to see such a drop, although from what I understand it levels off at a point.

    Thanks

None of those are critical. The read/write times hardly matter anyhow. It is though strange that the access time has changed.

Woot! My SSD with the new intel drivers, and my new GTX460 1GB bumped up my scores. And this is with my 24/7 Overclock to a little over 3GHz.

It won't let me attach my upload, but it lets me upload it......

Aodd, it says it's only DX10, when it is a DX11 GPU...

This turned into quite the thread. The day I started it I couldn't wait to see all the benchmarks. It has a lot of good data in it. You have been here more than me WHS. I still love my SSDs.
