You may have overlooked something. If the first partition is aligned, all other partitions are aligned too. The alignment is by multiples of 4 - but in KB. Once you have a partition of many MBs sitting in the front, then the next partition easily makes the multiple of 4KBs.
Example: the first partition is the little 100MB partition and that is aligned (e.g. with 1024KB). The next partition starts at 101 . but that is MBs. Convert that to KBs and you can easily divide it by 4.
