I feel like I'm talking to the wall.

Read the instructions I gave. You will see that should only be two programs still checked.

Post me a startup.txt file that so indicates.

Seriously? I'm not trying to be rude, but did you even read my post???

    Here is what I said:

I deleted the faulty file and ran a QUICK SCAN. It took only a few minutes this time and nothing popped up when the scan finished. No log was created from the quick scan either. Only the previous log from the full scan still remains.

Here is the startup file as requested.

ZyngaGamesAgent, STCagent, and Adobebridge were all deselected from the startup menu, but it still defaults to being added in the startup lineup.

    What's next?

For the time-being, until we've found the fly in the ointment, then the uninstall of those programs is necessary.

They should not be "rechecking". Something is NOT correct with those programs.

Okay. I will uninstall them. The zyngagamesagent and STCagent came with Windows 7 when I installed it.

i have the same motherboard. Zyagna games is from Asrock, and i had an extremely hard time deleting it. I really don't recall how I did it. It may be under Stardock or I went to program files and deleted it there, I really can't remember. I only remember that every time I deleted it, it returned next startup.

Good. After the uninstall, then post another startup.txt file. There is the possibility that a "friend" program is the guilty party. I hope not because that will be more problematic to run down.

Let's hope he has better luck. If it shows up again, then try to dust off the far corners of the gray matter to find the 'secret'.

Ah, interesting. I looked at the folder they came from and found the program named as "Splashtop" under my programs list. I uninstalled it and it removed all of it. It appears it didn't come back. So, good news there.

Might be a good time to mention Revo Uninstaller, since it does a nice registry scan after the uninstall.
