    Replacement BD drive

So I have a LG GGC-LH20 BluRay reader.

Yesterday, I decide to watch The Sarah Connor Chronicles, (which this drive has played flawlessly in the past) and for whatever reason, it simply will not read the disc.
And by that i mean, it doesnt even know theres a BD disc in the drive. Just starts to spin, makes a noise and stops.

All of the discs do this, though I did get one to work after a bit, but it wasn't playing well at all. Black boxes everywhere and skipping.
I did check the disc, and no evedint scratches, scuffs, or damage present.
They also play flawlessly on my home BD player.

This drive has has a history of not recognizing some Bluray titles. But lately, it seems to be getting worse in regards to not knowing its a disc.

Whats odd, is that I tried a number of other BD discs which played perfectly fine.

At any count, Im thinking the drive itself has issues & was going to order a new one tonight.

Im looking at a Pioneer 206, Sony 5600, and possibly another LG.
    The LG WH12LS30
These can all burn BD as well, which my current drive can not do.

Anyone have any experience with any of these BD burners or others that can recommend a good one?
Im lookig for one that should be able tio play most all BDs, and perform well with DVD/DVD-DL and burning.
Im a bit reluctant to try LGs drives again simply because they do not do very well at keeping FW up to date, especially after a drive is discontinued.

I just decided to run down to the local BestBuy and pick up a new BD drive.

Ended up with the LG BH12 and all problems were fixed. Everything (even BDs the old one previously never could read) is playing flawlessly.

No clue why it just decided to be extremly picky and tempermental, but something was obviously wrong with it.

As far as the new one goes, the BH12, it seems nice so far. Its certainly quieter than my old one ever was, and it seems to start playback a bit faster. but that part could just be me.
Haven't tried burning anything with it yet, but hopefully its DVD and DVD-DL burn speeds are good.
Look forward to trying out a BluRay burn soon as well. :)
