    Hi guys,

    I have an Acer Aspire 7750g with an AMD Radeon HD 7670M card and had the same problem with the switchable graphics. I found a solution on another forum.

    What I did was to download and install a modded bios from Bios Mods Tools; - [http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS]
    Insyde -> A_A_7750_P5WE0117_UlkMenus_ByCamiloml.exe

    Go into BIOS -> Advanced -> Video Configuration -> Pci Express Graphic -> Always Enable PEG [Enabled]

    Go into BIOS -> Advanced -> Video Configuration -> Pci Express Graphic -> PowerXpress Setting [Muxed Fixed Scheme]

    Restart

    Now I can select which display card I want to use in Catalyst Control center -> Start -> Power -> Switchable Graphics
    So I attempted this but my BIOS section did not match what was described above (see attachment). I attempted a few combinations of enabling both or just enabling the PEG but after running the customized driver installer from leshcatlabs.org I was still unable to get an option of Switchable Graphics under the Power category. My exact Acer Model is 7750G-9411 if that helps or matters. Any additional help would be appreciated, and thank in advance.

    As near as I've been able to determine, the discrete graphics have been included for one reason only: To provide DirectX 11 support. Everything else will be done by the i7's internal graphics. If the program you're using doesn't use DirectX 11, the added graphics support won't be touched.

    Log, did you install the new BIOS? Make sure you install it correctly or it won't show up.

    Once installed, it will restart on its own, then you go into BIOS..

    Lak3rsFan,

    Yes, I mean the BIOS now looks totally different and there was only 1 7750 to choose from on that custom BIOS site that was provided in the link. So it had to install correctly otherwise I would have that vanilla plain BIOS that came from ACER which allowed you to change like 2 options total.

    Hmm..

    Try installing BIOS 1.20 then install the modded BIOS to see if that helps.

    I can't figure out why it won't work..

    Did that, went back to 1.20 then installed the modded BIOS. I wouldn't go as far as to say the installation of the BIOS isn't working. I just don't see that other option from the original post (but I do see the 1st):

    Go into BIOS -> Advanced -> Video Configuration -> Pci Express Graphic -> PowerXpress Setting [Muxed Fixed Scheme]
