    "No driver found" error for every new USB peripheral


    I have a Lenovo T61 running win7 ultimate x32.

    Every time I plug a new USB device in I get 'no driver found' and it won't install, even if pointed to manufacturer drivers.

    I've updated windows and all the lenovo software/drivers... It's driving me mad!

    This is just a guess but this could be a result of damaged windows files.
    Not to worry on that note though, if it is the case the fix should be relatively simple.

    Just ran that and it didn't find anything!
