Hello Gayan. Welcome to the Forum.
These new systems and W7 are really "touchy" about RAM. It is recommended to try and match modules exactly to avoid any issues.
You can try with the (slightly) mismatched modules, and they may work fine, or they may throw out odd errors and glitches, or the system may not start up at all. Then you can play with timings and voltages in the BIOS and you may get them to work that way. It can be a "fun" project.
Or you can get matched RAM.
("Touchy" (def): Ever tap someone on the shoulder and they jump away like you just hurt them? Touchy!)
thanx TVeblen, 1 thing, will it cause any hardware damage?
Not usually. Just follow proper static electricity precautions and don't force anything into place. That's where the hardware damage comes from.
But even if the board or OS doesn't like your new RAM it will just reject it and refuse to play.
thanx guys, hope it wont effect to any performance wise.
I have installed cl9 ram into the system, and it works fine, will there be problems in the future because of this?
You should really run Memtest86+ for a few passes to make sure you don't have instability. If you're more paranoid than that, there are PC torture tests you can run, e.g. Prime95 as one example.
