    webcam problem


    hi..Asha here
    I have installed windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv4 series.But now my I m unable to find hp webcam option in my laptop though it is working fine with skype.I am unable to start HP smart media option also. Also fingerprint option for setting password is not working now.I also have update my webcam driver & the status is "working properly".
    Initially my laptop was with windows vista and all these options were working correctly.Is there any problem with windows 7?

    You need to check with the HP support site for Windows 7 drivers and download and install any that are needed.

    Was your webcam or fingerprint reader ever working in Windows 7? you may need to reinstall the drivers. just below your screen there should be a model number, search HP's website for the drivers for this device.

hi im using a Chicony 2.0 camera, and i recently installed windows 7. When i use the program windows live messenger it doesn't let me on cam. When people send me it it just says (blah blah blah - has declined your invitation) but nothing shows up on my screen. Does anyone know why this is...

im having problems with my webcam...i think its because of the drivers...its a chinese webcam from an unknown manufacturer...is there any chace that i can find the drivers for 7...on xp it works...
any solution for, web-cam drivers? it works in Vista ultimate x32, but never work in 7x64. it really disappointing help me please:cry:
